Panam Nogori: A magnificant architechture by Mughal's



On Dhaka - Chittagong highway 24 KM from dhaka 'Panam Nogory' situated. This is one of the most beautiful place in Sonargaon.This city was made by Mughals in about 13 century. Sonargaon was the capital of  Sultani of Bengol and this city situated in Panam Nogory. In Panam Nogory, there are many beautiful building with beautiful architecture.



When Taj Khan Karrani was the freelance Afghan ruler of geographic region, Isa Khan obtained Associate in Nursing estate in Sonargaon and Maheswardi Pargana in 1564 as a feudatory of the Karrani rulers. Isa Khan step by step inflated his strength and in 1571 he was selected because the ruler of whole Bhati region. In 1575 he assist Daud Khan Karrani to fight with Mughal flotilla within the locality of Sonargaon.

Daud Khan Karrani died within the battle of Rajmahal against Mughals in 1576. Akbar then appointed Isa Khan collectively of the Bara-Bhuiyans by creating him the zamindar of Sonargaon. Since then Isha Khan  resisted Mughal's ruling in his space. With the assistance of allies, he stood resistant against Mughals within the battle against Subahdar Khan Jahan in 1578, and Subahdar Shahbaz Khan in 1584 and Durjan Singh in 1597. Isa Khan died in Gregorian calendar month 1599. Then his son, Musa Khan, took management of Bhati region. however once the defeat of Musa Khan in ten July 1610 by Islam Khan, the military general of Mughals, Sonargaon became one among the sarkars of geographic region subah. The capital of geographic region is then shifted to Jahangirnagar (later named Dhaka).







Panam town was established within the late nineteenth century as a mercantilism center of cotton materials throughout British rule. Hindu fabric merchants engineered their residential homes following colonial vogue inspirationally derived from European sources.  These days this space is protected below the department of anthropology of East Pakistan. Panam town space was joined with the most town space by 3 brick bridges - Panam Bridge, Dalalpur Bridge and PanamNagar Bridge - throughout Mughal amount. The bridges ar still in use.



Now a big amount of building are standing in Panam Nogori as a evidence of Mughals architecture. At present many people visit this magnificent architecture everyday from home and abroad. Government of Bangladesh took place to maintain this beautiful architecture for the visitors.
